A few calls re. Jimmy Smith and his death early last year.
A request for a Charlie Parker tune (Birdland) that the station doesn't have from a listener in Middletown who has to do some judicious and divine tuning to get our signal. Just like me, they rely on a table radio as their fine stereo system only recieves a garbly, scratchy signal from us.

I suggest to all listeners or potential ones, that the clearest signal is through the Internet. Even living only 15 miles away from the station, WVUD's FM signal is rather crappy. So, WVUD Online works best. That, or if you're within 20-25 miles of Newark, DE, hop into your car. NO, sitting in your car in pajamas and holding a cup of coffee will not result in your getting ticketed.
